I had the opportunity to take some photos for Cultivate PR a few weeks ago for the Grand opening of Searsucker, a new restaurant that opened up downtown at 415 Colorado St. Apparently a former Top Chef contestant(possible winner), Brian Marlarkey I believe, opened up 2 of these restaurants elsewhere in the country, but has now decided to add Austin to the fleet. Santana's restaurant, Maria Maria, used to be located here, but Searsucker took it over and redid the whole thing. It's a massive space and it has several different themes going on throughout the restaurant, so it's kind of hard to pinpoint the vibe, but that's always cool in my opinion. Anyways, here are some shots from the evening.
